Application Areas

Iridian serves a wide variety of application areas and welcomes inquiries in new areas. The capability for meeting customer needs ranges from prototype development to very large scale production (up to 10,000 filters per day for some filter product types).

Currently our products cover the wavelength range from 250 nm to ~ 15 µm (UV-VIS-NIR-SWIR-MWIR-LWIR).  Filter sizes vary from sub-millimeter dimensions to 300 mm in length.  The filter complexity extends from simple anti-reflection coatings, consisting of several layers, to high performance band pass and edge pass filters that may require more than 800 layers.
